A 1975 Elizabeth Forward graduate, Dorothy's roots in the community are profound, stemming from a family farm that has been a local landmark for over 200 years.
Her professional background as a farmer, horse stable owner, and caterer for four decades, coupled with two years in marketing, provides her with a practical understanding of operations and community needs. Dorothy's extensive volunteer work, cooking for organizations like the E.T. seniors, Elizabeth Masons, and various Lions Clubs, highlights her long-standing commitment to civic engagement.
Dorothy's tenure on the school board, which began in 2009, is marked by a deep passion for student success and district integrity. While initially motivated by concerns for her family's farm, her dedication quickly broadened to encompass the entire "Warrior" community. She is a strong advocate for maintaining programs and activities, celebrating the "pride and enjoyment in the students' faces" as they achieve their goals.
